Alarm Clocks, Doorbells and Telephones
Many deaf people cannot hear these.  Flashing lights or vibration are used instead of bells.

Vibrating Alarm Clocks

Vibrating clocks let deaf people know when it is time to wake up.

Flashing Doorbells

A light flashes when the doorbell rings.

Some flash the light on the box.  Others flash the lights in the house.

Some are portable and can be taken to different places.

This box flashes lights when the telephone rings.
Alarms with flashing lights or vibrating pads are used with baby alarms and smoke detectors too
