Sources of Evidence

People learn about history from photographs, paintings, books, letters, buildings, maps, plans and objects.  They can also talk to people who were there.  These are all called 'Sources of Evidence'.

We found different sources of evidence about our school.

We can use these to find out about our school.  Try to find the same information in different sources.  This helps us know the facts are true.
